I have been making art since I could hold a brush. I started formal training with a wonderful teacher named Albert Shvilly when I was eight years old, and continued studying painting and drawing with him for almost a decade before going on to study art at Wesleyan University. Albert is a brilliant and kind painter who taught me how to work with integrity, joy and discipline. I hope to pass on what he taught me about the joy of creating beautiful art, the rewards of dedication to craft, and the power of personal expression to all of my students.
